    Great country pub with big tasty meals and a friendly atmosphere. Definatly drop in if you need a rest on the way through.

    Happened across this pub by chance and what a find! The steaks were on point and cooked to perfection! (1×rare, 2x medium rare) And with a chef and a publican in our party, we're quite discerning! Definitely worth stopping in for a feed! And it's just across the road from a great little caravan park.

    Food was spot on, I had the T Bone, absolutely perfect
    Huge serving, but a great team.
    Especially impressed by the owners son who not only took out orders but also served then and then connected empty plates.. excellent

    After moving to the area, (monia gap), this is our local pub now.
    Bar staff are excellent and friendly, very accommodating.
    But will Not be returning for meals.
    My partner ordered a rump steak RARE!!!! and veg, she got a sliver of grisly meat that was well done and not edible for her, her broccoli was mushy, carrots rubber, she basically left the whole plate of food.
    Definitely not impressed.

    Fantastic service and food ! Great night with Caveman and staff. Locals were amazing..
    Just what we needed after a long 9 hour drive and checking into the "lovely" motel 2 doors down. Good honest food, easy going staff. My family felt very welcomed and we really enjoyed our time here. We will be back, if. IF the pub re opens accomodation at the pub.

    The cleanest pub I have ever been in and I’ve been in a lot! Food okay, spacious and best of all at the time of writing open 7 days for meals.
